If you don't listen to Jill Scott you're not my friend, and if you do listen to Jill Scott, you should continue reading. I love all of her albums but nothing gets better than Volume One. I listen to this song when I'm mad, sad, or just feeling jittery. Because, who isn't "Getting In Your Way" at some point or another? Check it.

Relaxing Rooms

I love how you can easily create a relaxed, fun room with little budget. I love the idea of paper birds above the bed, cheap lanterns and painted chairs. I've found most of my furniture for free because I'm cheap, and then spend the extra money to paint it. I have a collection of polaroids that are currently hung by a Ikea metal post, but I might retire that and assort them over a desk. Black & White Wednesday

Last night was by far one of the best classes I've ever had in my life. I really push myself to no pre-plan when stepping up to do improv, and it proves necessary. Discovered a new character who loves tapestries to a lustful extent, yet maintains a charmingly dorky side. On the hunt for an internship that will ultimately turn into a job. Yes and Please. I love black and white. As you can see I'm very liberal.

BRIDESMAIDS. GET HIM TO THE GREEK. MARIE ANTOINETTE. This girl is my HERO. She is naturally beautiful, funny and a delightfully humble actress. If I were were any man with any sense, she would be on the top of my list. I mean, she's on mine. A man is still smoking a fake cigarette in front of me. I could say, hey man, can you put out your cigarette, but I don't think you can extinguish LED tobacco cherries.

Twins

Diane Arbus is one of my favorite photographers because she catches the perfectly poised freaks in an instant with her lens. Twins have always been in my top five of freaky followed by battery powered cigarettes, bluetooths, Mormons, and Calamari. Check out the wonderful website of Tabitha Emma to find more weird photos.

New Start

I decided to revamp my blog and start with some fresh ideas and post regularly to express my concepts for my standup, inspirations and overall doings. I moved to Los Angeles almost a year ago, and life is definitely more hectic out here than in good ol' Carolina.

I would like to judge the woman next to me in Starbucks photoshopping pictures of a baby into an angel, but I am currently Googling pictures of baby dogs. I must say though, you would NEVER see this woman in North Carolina, because there, it would've already been professionally done at K-Mart.
